The Hamburg Township Library is in need of interested individuals to run for election for the six-member Library Board of Trustees. 
This is a four year term and requires you to be elected by the citizens of Hamburg Township.

 Responsibilities of a Library Trustee include:

·       Attend monthly meetings (third Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm)

·       Set library policies

·       Approve and oversee the budget

·       Approve and oversee personnel

·       Take an active part in library programs by participating, promoting and volunteering

Library Board candidates will appear on the August 5^th primary ballot, so the appropriate paperwork needs to be filed with the Hamburg Township Clerk by May 13, 2008.  The paperwork includes nominating petitions (or a $100 non-refundable fee in lieu of the petitions) and Affidavit of Identity.
